I've used and continue to use a number of utility software programs to protect my systems and network but I've never seen a program that better removes and protects against spyware than Spybot - Search & Destroy. I really like that fact that it's compatible with my primary utility set of Norton SystemWorks, System Mechanic, Firetrust Mailwasher & Benign, Spyware Innoculator and Diskeeper to name the main ones.

The usual signs of a spyware/adware invasion is a new browser toolbar - been there, had that, system slowdown - ditto and my browser's home page changing - ditto again.
